What is Maledonna?
First off, Maledonna is a conjunction of two words, the Italian word for "bad", Male and the Italian word for Woman, Donna. Maledonna is a concept for an all-girl fighting game that's being developed by myself (
) and a little help from my boyfriend and friends (and of course, you guys). Each of the women have been turned into or is possessed by demons/mythological creatures or goddesses (the ones more on the negative side of the spectrum)and each one has a desire to be returned back to normal.What type of fighting game is it?
It would be a 2-D cell-style game.
What would be different about this game?
I already feel that the concept alone is different. IMO. X3 Otuside of that, there are very little all-girl fighting games in the market as it is.
My boyfriend and I have been playing with the idea of a leveling system too. Essentially, you could build an existing character and make them stronger in allotted areas, you could also unlock special abilities and special items.
Who's Programming the game?
Uhhhh... no one is! XD I have no programming skill or knowledge at all. My boyfriend has some and is interested in trying it out. But otherwise, I can only hope to develop the best I can art-wise /story-wise and design-wise then find someone who will help me with all the programming mumbo jumbo
